Product Information

A colourful lapwing greetings card / note card.  Perfect birthday card or thank you card for a bird lover.   This bird art card is blank inside for your own message.  It features my original artwork of this handsome grassland and wetland bird.   

It measures 12x12cm (5"x5") and is printed on high quality 400 gsm card by supporters of the Woodland Trust Carbon Capture project and has a recycled brown envelope.

The card is packed in a recyclable plastic sleeve and is posted 2nd class.   I am in the process of switching to biodegradable plastic sleeves (or maybe none at all) but am using up the old stock first.

This design is created first using papers that I hand print and paint myself, before scanning them into the computer then layering and collaging them digitally.  I love the freedom that this technique affords me, and I am constantly experimenting with ways to bring lots of vibrant colour and rich texture into my work.
