This unique, sweet Medieval Mead uses the oldest recipe we have been able to find for producing mead, although we have excluded the rotten crab apples, since we think that modern taste buds are not into such flavours. Mead is the oldest alcoholic drink ever discovered. Mead was found in the tomb of Tutankhamun and it was also highly valued by the Romans. What’s more, medieval monks seem to have been weaned on Mead for many hundreds of years.
