These Christmas trees are turned from reclaimed oak (reject table legs!!) and make an interesting feature individually or set up in groups. They look particularly effective used as table decorations. These stand approximately 14 cms tall and are 6cms wide at the base.
The wood is a British oak which had been rough turned in preparation for use as table legs but for some reason has not been selected for final use. I acquired the material recently and love its med oak colour and hue. As is usual with all my work the pieces are finished in my own home made bees wax polish using wax from a friend who keeps bees on out allotments.
