Miner Gnome, Gonk, Elf, Tomte ir Nisse, Inspired by the Welsh Gonks of my youth and a Christmassy trip to Iceland.

This version has been made in honour of my Grandfather and all miners.

He's got his own pick-axe and lantern....and a little smug of soot on his cute little nose.

In Scandinavian folklore a Gnome is a mythological creature that lives on the house and secretly acts as it's guardian, protecting the family and animals from evil and misfortune day and night! Making this little Gnome a most thoughtful gift.

Sizes range 6.5cm to 9cm.

Handmade with love from air dry clay and hand painted with Annie Sloan chalk paint and acrylic paints.

Please note this is a little ornament and not treated for use in the garden.
