Another Nixie clock to fascinate your Steampunk acquaintances.
Hand built from reclaimed materials.
The clock is made handmade from reclaimed Oak with a traditional french polish finish, a glass bell jar and polished brass embellishments.
Starting at the top:
Modern day electronics controlling 1960-70's Russian Nixie tubes enclosed with an old bell jar. (excellent time keeping, have had it running for a month with no time loss or gain)
Below the Nixie clock is a solid brass bell and a solenoid striker. the bell rings out the hours between 7am and 9pm.
To the side are the controls, an old gas control valve switches the chimes on and off, the two black buttons below it are the clock settings.
The clock can show the time (12 or 24Hr format) and can be set to alternate between the time and date.
Full operating instructions and circuit diagrams included.
