Hematite blue gemstone necklace (220)

Hematite blue 6-10mm gemstone necklace featuring several different shaped beads, 2-8mm round, 4mm drum and 3x5mm rice.  The beads are individually stitched together using strong beading thread to produce a very light, flexible and comfortable segmented rope. 

Hematite is a metallic looking gemstone that has an intriguing look when set into jewellery. Although hematite is not a mainstream gemstone, it is a collector’s favourite due to its unique appearance. Hematite is always opaque, and does not allow light to pass through. When polished, it appears very metallic and is somewhat similar to silver in look. Sometimes, it’s easy to confuse hematite as being a metal rather than a gemstone.
